Reverend Doctor Andrew Hale has served in congregational life for over 25 years, holding diverse roles as a denominational leader, consultant, church starter, pastor, and coach. Hale serves as the associate executive coordinator of CBF North Carolina, one of the largest state-level entities within the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, a denomination comprising over 2,500 congregations across the United States and Puerto Rico. In this role, Hale works directly with churches and clergy on sustainability and thriving initiatives, emerging young adult programs, and ministerial transitions.

Andrew is the creator and host of the award-winning CBF Podcast Conversation, as well as The Clergy Confessions Podcast.

Before his current role, Andy served as the senior pastor of University Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; the founding pastor of Mosaic Church of Clayton, North Carolina; and the associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Clayton, North Carolina. He also served on CBF Global staff as the church start specialist, training and equipping others to start churches across the United States.

While Andrew’s strengths focus on adaptive leadership, innovating organizational vision and administration, communication strategies and navigating uncharted situations, his passion is helping clergy, congregational leaders and churches thrive. Throughout his career, Hale has demonstrated a successful track record of collaborating with both new and established churches, helping them flourish through creative design, leadership development, congregational workshops, and strategic planning.
